The Bainbridge Development Corporation was established as a public instrumentality of the State in June 1999 (Chapter 494, Acts of 1999). The Corporation may acquire, construct, develop, manage, market, reconstruct, rehabilitate, improve, maintain, equip, lease, repair, and operate any project at the Bainbridge Naval Training Center. The Corporation's Board of Directors is to establish a Bainbridge Development Advisory Board.
The Corporation's Board of Directors consists of fifteen members. Nine are appointed by the Cecil County Board of County Commissioners. Six serve ex officio. The Board of Directors is to establish the Bainbridge Development and Advisory Board (Code 1957, Art. 83A, secs. 5-1301 through 5-1309).
